new year , new life ..

             New year and new life. As the new year opens before us, I reflect on trials of yesteryear and know that I wouldn't be here without the love of Christ. With the New Year already upon us, what better way to start and continue the year and your life with some new years resolution ? I’m not talking about losing weight; I’m talking about gaining life! As far as we know, we have only one life to live.

People throughout the world are in a time of revelation, which can be seen by the protests, economic downturn and government upheaval occurring around the world. Yes, these times are hard for many. Many of us are used to living a certain lifestyle, and as a result of these difficult times, we’ve had to change our lifestyle in order to adapt and make it through.

There are many who believe that after we get through these times, things will go back to the way they were. Then again, things may not – and maybe they shouldn’t. From the protests and other demonstrations taking place, it’s evident that our way of life is not sustainable and apparently didn’t work.

keeping in mind our mother tongue

       In our country , we have our own language or we call mother tongue . We  have different language here in our country , like ilocano , bisaya and etc. Ilocano is my mother tongue . Since birth this  is the languge that I use . I use it for communicating to my friends , family , and other people .  So what is  a mother tongue ?
      A first language (also native language, mother tongue, arterial language, or L1) is the language(s) a person has learned from birth or within the critical period, or that a person speaks the best and so is often the basis for sociolinguistic identity. In some countries, the terms native language or mother tongue refer to the language of one's ethnic group rather than one's first language. Sometimes, there can be more than one mother tongue, when the child's parents speak different languages. Those children are usually called bilingual.The origin of the term "mother tongue" harks back to the notion that linguistic skills of a child are honed by the mother and therefore the language spoken by the mother would be the primary language that the child would learn.

Discrimination towards women and girls, or what is known as gender-based discrimination, is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women, girls and the communities they live in to protect and promote their health.

"Responding To Climate Change"

     Climate changes in response to changes in the global energy balance. On the broadest scale, the rate at which energy is received from the sun and the rate at which it is lost to space determine the equilibrium temperatu re and climate of Earth. This energy is then distributed around the globe by winds, ocean currents, and other mechanisms to affect the climates of different regions. 

      Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periodsranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions or the distribution of events around that average. Climate change may be limited to a specific region or may occur across the whole earth.

      Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner.

Effects that scientists had predicted in the past would result from global climate change are now occuring: loss of sea ice, accelerated sea level rise and longer, more intense heat waves.

        English is one of the most use language in the world. It is the universal language.Nowadays,we are now using modern technologies in our daily lives.And we are now living in modern technologies.These technologies can help us to enhance our  english  grammar and help us to do our works easily.

            In our life,there are so many things that deals about science and chemistry.All the things in the world are taking science.Science can help us to gain more knowledge about things that deals with it.Science is a big of our life, we can learn a lot about it especially in our daily lives.It can change the quality of our lives and our environment.We all know that in science ,it also studies about nature.We can care and protect our nature if we do something good for it.If the science club will make a project /it should be  the clean and green project.It will help our environment clean and the diseases that we can in our environment will be lessen.It will improve the quality of our environment and also the quality of our life.

              Teachers ? Hero ? These are the people who inspire us. And some of us they are our inspiration . But what are the true meaning of a teacher and a hero?
 
              Hero is somebody who commits an act of remarkable bravery or who has shown great courage ,strength of character or another admirable quality.A teacher is the one who teaches us . And for me I considered them as a hero.Teachers teach us to become more educated people and they also teach us to discipline ourselves.Some students are not listening to teachers but even they are not listening,they are pursuing to teach us.Without teacher,there are no professional people in this world.Teachers are the best !
